Become a Community Member Advisor
Help shape Canada’s national suicide prevention helpline by becoming a Community Member Advisor! 9-8-8: Suicide Crisis Helpline is looking for people with lived experience of suicide and/or using crisis lines to share their experience and expertise and help guide the service. As a Community Member Advisor to 9-8-8, your input will help make the service better for the thousands of people across Canada who reach out every day.
Spread the word
Suicide affects people of all ages and backgrounds.
Help spread the word about 9‑8‑8: Suicide Crisis Helpline and encourage more people to reach out for help when they need it.
- Print the 9-8-8 poster to put up in your local community
- Ask your local businesses and organizations to display the 9-8-8 poster and/or 9-8-8 wallet card
- Post about 9-8-8 on social media and tag 9-8-8
